Nubo SuiteSwitching from Zoho to Nubo Suite
Zoho is a catalogue of separate apps, so you move one app at a time. Start with documents and contacts, then the business apps you will replace, and mail last. Check first whether India-hosted data is a requirement for you: Nubo cannot promise it today.
What to export from Zoho
Do these first. Keep your old account active until you have checked everything arrived.
- Documents, spreadsheets, presentations. Download from Zoho Writer, Sheet and Show in Office formats where the app offers them, then open them in Write, Sheets and Slides.
- CRM, Desk, Projects, Books. Use each Zoho app’s own export, usually CSV. Nubo’s CRM and Invoices import CSV. Mapping fields takes care, so ask us before moving live records.
- Contacts and calendar. Export contacts as vCard (.vcf) and calendars as .ics where Zoho offers them; Nubo imports both.
- Mail. Nubo has no mail import tool. Keep your Zoho mailbox and forward new mail while you switch.
- WorkDrive files. Download the folders you need and upload them to Nubo Files.
Checklist
- Decide whether India-hosted data is a requirement. If it is, stay with Zoho or ask us in writing where Nubo data is hosted.
- List which Zoho apps you actually use every week.
- Open a free Nubo account and try your three most important documents.
- Export CRM data to CSV and test an import of ten records before moving the rest.
- Move one team first, for example sales, then the others.
- Forward mail instead of switching it until you are sure.
- Keep the Zoho plans until you have confirmed nothing important is left behind.
- Cancel Zoho products one by one at the end of their billing periods.
What does not move
- Nubo has no mail import tool and no migration tool. The steps here are done by hand, and our team can help you plan them.
- Mail history does not move with a click. Keep the old mailbox active (read only if you like) for as long as you need old messages.
- Chat history, comments and version history in your old tools are not imported.
